Kris Krug featured on the Scoble Show...

I don't have any value to add to this post per se, but I like to help Kris get his name out there as much as I can (if I can).  I've known Kris for years, and could only hope to have a fraction of his creativity.  (This is not a paid announcement... :)

See his creativity at work here (in the form of photography... only one of his outlets): http://www.staticphotography.com/

... and here (his company founded with fellow Web 2.0 gurus Boris Mann and Roland Tanglao): http://www.Bryght.com

Anyway, good job Kris, and keep up the good content Scoble.

I taught him everything he knows...

Okay, so I didn't teach him anything at all. In fact I don't know a dang thing about photography, but have fun taking my own stab at it.

Anyway, the "him" I refer to is Kris Krug, who has recently won the HP sponsored O'Reilly's Open Source Convention photo contest. His recent work, in collaboration with Rhonda Fast, on static photography is very nice, and finally a place where he (and Rhonda) can feature their talent (including Kris' celebrated portraits)... and heck, even make a buck or two (that's allowed isn't it?).

Anyway, congrats Kris on the award, and kudos to both of you on your work with static photography and I wish you all the best.

Microsoft Digital Photography Site...

I found this on Robert Scoble's blog. His point is that it is a cool site, but sadly lacks RSS support.

I just thought I'd post about it mostly to remind myself to take a look at it later, and maybe even solicit the opinion of other (real) photographers that I know... :)
