GTD...

It's the first I heard of "Getting Things Done" or "GTD", the concept pioneered (I'm guessing) by the author of "Getting Things Done", but it lead me to a number of interesting tags, including of course "GTD", "lifehacks" and "productivity".

So after reading the article that kicked this all off, I was lead to 43things.com, which of course is inspired by this whole concept of GTD and created an account (under jamehealy for those who care). Interesting concept of forming community, not around people with similar characteristics, interests, etc., but rather around similar goals and objectives... which I surmise is likely a different set of people altogether.

The interesting part is that you can actually see how other people are progressing against their goals and some of the "lifehacks" they have found in their pursuit.

NB: I continue to be fascinated with how productive 'tagging' can be, and continue to wonder why I've only started taking advantage of it now...? I've gone so far as to tweak my browser for use with tags so that I can quickly search Technorati, Wikipedia and others for interesting tags...
