Copy/Paste fun with Windows Live Writer...

I've been using Windows Live Writer ("WLW") for a while now to author content for my personal site, but have apparently missed some subtle, yet cool features.

After having read this post on inking workarounds for WLW it got me to thinking that perhaps any common image format will be supported via copy/paste... so I quickly grabbed an old Visio-based diagram I had created ages ago (to illustrate the Canonical Data Model to a customer), and sure enough... all I had to do is copy/paste it into WLW.

If you're on a Windows platform and you enjoy personal publishing ... give this a try.

BTW - I've used other very good Blog Editors such as Qumana (very nice), ecto, Performancing (when I used Firefox more)... they're all very good, but I do believe this is better.  For what its worth Qumana in my opinion comes a very close second, and they're right in my backyard here in Vancouver.
